conversations that matter supervisor training

Tanya Fritz, CSW, has worked in the human service field for thirty years. She currently serves as Director of Culture and Professional Development with Black Hills Works (Rapid City, SD), ensuring direct support professionals, leadership, and their teams receive the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

Curiosity, compassion, and personal accountability guide Tanya’s work, as she strives to connect helpers with the tools needed to best serve and support others. One of her greatest joys is watching people have “aha moments” and discover their personal power. Tanya previously served as Advocacy and Prevention Director, overseeing the Children’s Home Child Advocacy Center and directing statewide awareness and education campaigns. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and is an ACE Interface Master trainer, as well as a Faculty Trainer for the National Traumatic Stress Institute.

Hard conversations don’t get easier by avoiding them — they just get more expensive. This training brings together three skills that belong together: the emotional intelligence to know yourself under pressure, the feedback tools to say the hard thing with care, and the conversation framework to move something forward. Built for supervisors. Grounded in real work.
